For Thursday - be ready with your Pecha Kulcha presentations.  Putting your file on a USB is great!  Ensure that you've preset the timer (located in the transitions menu) to 10 seconds so that slides advance without needing to press a button.  Looking forward to hearing and seeing all about your reading.

Friday Dec 9th

Hi everyone - I am off sick today so today you worked with Ms. McCutcheon...you're in good hands.

All blocks - spend some time on your Pecha Kucha presentations - refer to the rubric on the back of the assignment sheet for details re: project and presentation.  Spend time plotting out what you're going to say first, then work on finding clear, simple images that will enhance what you share with the class.  Pecha Kucha presentations run on Thursday Dec 15th.  Be ready!

10s - today you should have finished and handed in an outline for your analytical paragraph.  Topic sentence and concluding sentence should be done, and your ideas/quotes/transitions should be mapped out.  You write your analytical paragraph in class on Tuesday Dec 13th.

9s - today you should have finished and handed in an outline for your opinion piece.  You should have also spent some time working on how to integrate quotes.  You will have to incorporate one quote into your opinion piece. You write your opinion piece in class on Tuesday Dec 13th

Enjoy the snow - see you next week.
