11s- Today we watched Polanski's version of Macbeth. We have just seen Macbeth murder Duncan. Students were responsible to complete a three column chart before/during movie. This has been handed in.

Over the break please: Re-read Act 2, finish reading Act 3 - there will be an Act 1-3 test (date tba) when you return from Spring Break.
10s - Today we began Animal Farm by George Orwell. We learned about the author and read Chapter 1 together while working on figuring out who all the characters are.
Over Spring Break: You will need to read Chapter 1- 3 (if you were not at school today find a copy of the text online and read the first 3 chapters) and complete a rough draft of study guide work (onto worksheet directly/bullet points okay) to be checked Tuesday Mar 27th. Good copy (blue/black ink or typed, full sentences) of study guide chapters 1-3 will be handed in on Thursday the 29th. **if you were not here today phone a friend and/or stop by the class as soon as you return.
There will be a chapter 1-3 + biography test Thursday Mar 29th.
Letter Essays were due today - email them to me asap if you did not hand yours in today as there are no extensions with this one...
