10s- Today we went over the Term 2 independent novel project - Letter Essays. We went over the requirements/rubric, I shared an example, and students began outlining. Mon Mar 5th - we'll have a bit of time to continue working on Letter Essay, Fri Mar 9th - good copy of Letter Essay is DUE. Sorry no extensions on this one, I'll be marking them over Spring Break.
Thursday - you will have a short story 'sight' test. You will be given a copy of a story that you have not read and be tested on your ability to apply key terms and analyze the story. Review your short story package. You will be asked to determine the theme of the story and trace the decision making process of the main character. The test will be two parts: 1. Multiple choice - 10 marks 2. Paragraphs - 24 marks (2 paragraphs 12 marks each).
