11s- Today students wrote their Lord of the Flies in-class essay. This essay was open book/novel so students were able to use their notes as well as the novel to construct their essay.
Homework: MASK/THEME project due Monday Jan 30th.

10s- Today was all about theme vs. topic and how to differentiate between the two. We also talked about what topics/themes were part of the story "To Build a Fire". Next week students will be writing an 11 sentence paragraph about a theme found in "To Build a Fire". Make sure that you have read the story completely.
