Tues Jan 17th

11s- Today we spent time discussing the bigger issues/ideas of Chapters 7, 8, 9.  Students worked in expert groups and then moved into new groups that had an expert representation from each section.  It was great to see students talking and discussing their impressions of the novel.

***marks for Term 2 so far are posted...those of you who received a 'Danger Report' need to see me asap to rescue your mark.  I will be working on contacting home in the coming week for these students****

Homework - catch up and read to the end of Chapter 10

10s - Today we tied up the Point of View writing exercise and took at look at Provincially Examinable Terms.  We also began prepping for our next story "To Build a Fire"

Homework - Journals #1-4 Due on Thursday.  You need to hand in all four entries, I will mark two entries.  Please indicate to me in some way which two you'd like me to mark.
