Tues Jan 24th

11s-  Today we talked about our reactions to the end of the novel, and then watched "The Simpsons" parody.  Students began to work on their Mask Projects and identified the theme that they want to work with.
Mask Projects- due Mon Jan 30th

On Thursday the 26th we will write an in-class essay that deals with the overall message of LOTF and what Golding uses in his writing to reveal this message.

On Monday the 30th - READERS' WORKSHOP!! Make sure that you have an independent novel that you are excited about reading!

On Wed Feb 1st you will start a brand new unit with Ms. Johnson, a UBC Teacher Candidate.

10s-  Today we finished reading "To Build A Fire" and looked at the character of the man and the dog.  Students are responsible to complete the story chart for "To Build A Fire".  Next day we will talk about theme and begin a new piece of writing.  Make sure that you've read the whole story!!!!
